Nezaměstnanost v Královéhradeckém kraji v lednu vzrostla na rekordních 8,6 procenta z osmi procent v prosinci. Práci si na konci ledna hledalo 24.711 lidí. Loni v lednu, v době začínající hospodářské krize, byla míra nezaměstnanosti 5,7 procenta. V lednu 2008 činila 4,8 procenta. Vyplývá to z údajů, které dnes zveřejnilo ministerstvo práce a sociálních věcí.

Poprvé v historii se nezaměstnanost v některém z okresů kraje přehoupla přes hranici deseti procent, a to na Jičínsku. Z prosincových 9,4 procenta tam míra vzrostla na 10,2 procenta. Také v ostatních okresech kraje míra nezaměstnanosti vzrostla. Po Jičínsku má nejvyšší nezaměstnanost Trutnovsko, a to 9,7 procent. Nejnižších 7,2 procent mělo Hradecko.

Lednový vývoj potvrdil předpoklady úřadů práce, že nezaměstnanost v kraji dál výrazně poroste. Jen v prvních dnech ledna byly úřady zavaleny stovkami uchazečů o práci. Vedle pokračujícího přílivu lidí ze sezonních prací pokračovalo i postupné propouštění v průmyslových podnicích. Například náchodský úřad práce v prvních lednových dnech zaevidoval 40 lidí z hromadného propouštění ve strojírnách Oerlikon v Červeném Kostelci.

Podle ředitele hradeckého úřadu práce Martina Horáka nezaměstnanost zřejmě poroste i v únoru, i když ne takovým tempem jako v lednu. "Žádné velké propouštění desítek lidí sice hlášeno není, ale odchody menších počtů z více firem stále trvají," řekl Horák. Věří také, že firmy budou více využívat státem podporovaný program vzdělávání zaměstnanců.

Důležité pro region podle Horáka bylo i to, že se v lednu vstupem investora do české pobočky německého zásilkového obchodu Quelle podařilo zažehnat hrozbu propuštění tamních více než 200 lidí. České Quelle, které sídlí v hradecké čtvrti Březhrad, koupila skupina Halens Group, která podniká v zásilkovém a internetovém obchodě v severní Evropě.

Nabídka volných míst v kraji se v lednu mírně zvýšila na 1469 míst z 1333 míst v prosinci. Nejhůře se hledá práce na Jičínsku, kde na jedno volné místo připadá 48 nezaměstnaných. V celém kraji připadá je jedno volné místo 17 lidí bez práce.

V celé zemi míra nezaměstnanosti v lednu meziměsíčně vzrostla o 0,6 procentního bodu na 9,8 procenta. Celkem je v zemi bez práce přes 562.000 lidí.

V mezikrajském porovnání má hradecký kraj čtvrtou nejnižší nezaměstnanost. Nižší nezaměstnanost je v Praze a Středočeském a Jihočeském kraji. Sousední Pardubický kraj měl v lednu míru nezaměstnanosti 10,5 procenta.
